I’m starting this project today! I’m already so proud of tasshin.com, but a lot of the content on that website is very polished, in a much more stable state. I used to have a notebook section of my website but I ended up merging that category into just the blog category.
Anyways, I think it might be nice to have a simple notes section, where I can write less polished, off-the-cuff stuff. And/or have what I write be a staging area for more polished material that makes its way onto the main tasshin.com website.
Plus this is a fun era for doing projects with code, given the AI tooling that’s available now.
WordPress is tried and true, the devil I know—it works well for my purposes—but I think it will be fun to use Emacs, and Claude Code, and Git, and Quartz (which looks like a really cool, modern static site generator).
So that’s my intention! Write less polished stuff here, more often. Workshop content here. And just play around with cool computer projects. See where all of that goes.
